We are looking for an enthusiastic Gardener to join our Whangamata team for a fixed-term maternity cover role.
This position starts immediately working through for 6 months, with the potential for an extension.
About The Role Reporting to the Team Manager and working closely with other team members, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiple sites around Whangamata, Pauanui, and Tairua.
Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control, as well as maintaining bedding displays, hanging baskets, roses, borders, and shrubbery.
You will ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards, maintaining a well-planned and timely schedule while prioritising the safety of the public, your team, and yourself.
Who We Are Looking For Ideally, we would love someone who has practical experience in gardening/horticulture; however, this is not a must.
As long as you have an awesome work ethic, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in, then you would be a perfect candidate.
