Since 1992 we have come a long way from a one-man-band to the team of 289 we are today across NZ and Australia.We are looking for a new team member to join our IT team as a Front-End Software Developer.The Front-End Software Developer role is responsible for delivering front-end web-based development across our internally built systems. The role works closely with other software development team members to integrate with internal APIs, databases, and other Azure-based services. The front-end development role is primarily focused on React and Blazor.This role is a technical position and would suit someone with a desire to mentor, guide, and share knowledge with others. You'll likely have 3+ years of progressively responsible coding experience, be adept in React, .NET, TypeScript, and have a strong grasp of DevOps, automation, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Solid experience with Azure, Microsoft SQL, and Atlassian platforms is a must. If you have a keen eye for product design, a commitment to continual improvement, and can communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences, we'd love to hear from you. Be part of a team where customer satisfaction is paramount and innovation is encouraged!About the role:Collaborate with the software development team to ensure a quality user experience across TR's internal applications.Develop and establish design standards with the technology team.Contribute to design efforts and participate in technical reviews for product planning.Provide technical input to IT, highlighting front-end development needs when necessary.Redesign and refactor existing applications to add features, enhance performance, and simplify code.Work collaboratively within the TR Group IT team to achieve high-quality business outcomes.Share knowledge and build strong relationships within the development team.Engage with a modern technology stack, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.Plan, execute, and manage key projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.Identify, diagnose, and resolve software bugs and problems quickly to minimize business disruptions.We are turning an exciting page within the IT space at TR Group and building on some great foundations to be even better.
