Dribond Construction Chemicals is Australian Made and owned and has been in business since 1974 and has grown into one of the most respected ceramic tile adhesives, waterproofing and repair product manufacturers in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia/Pacific, with locations including Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Kuala Lumpur.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance manager will work with a small team and be responsible for proving all financial inputs for monthly financial cycles. This role has a strong operational focus therefore your practical experience in commercial, finance and manufacturing operations would see you succeed in financial functions of the business in Australia and International.
Responsibilities
Financial management and reporting including preparation of various monthly, quarterly and annual reports and accounts.
Payroll processing including collation of time sheets, leave management, employee data management, processing pay and transfers to banking software.
Prepare, pay and reconcile monthly and annual payroll tax, superannuation liabilities for all states.
Ensure all compliance and reporting obligations are fulfilled for the group including BAS, Workcover, FBT etc.
Attending to company insurance requirements and coordinating insurance claims.
Motor Vehicle fleet management including purchasing and maintenance.
Work and liaison with our external accountants.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years practical accounting experience with 2 years in a similar management role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Proficiency in accounting and manufacturing software packages.
Experience in IT with knowledge of server, network, email, printer applications.
Excellent analytical problem solving and organization skills.
Understanding of OH&S along with HR experience.
Effective communication skills both verbally and written.
Property management skills covering tenants, leases, and building maintenance requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
