Additionally, the systems and reporting packages utilised by the company will provide invaluable experience for candidates looking to build their large corporate experience.The CompanyAn iconic and dynamic organisation, renowned in Christchurch for providing its staff with variety in their role as well as genuine work-life balance.The RoleContributing to the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly and annual Financial Statements, including external auditAssisting with monthly accounting procedures and reporting for the group and subsidiary entitiesTax compliance activities, including income tax, GST, FBT and RWT calculations and submissionsOwnership of the group fixed asset register, including associated project capitalisation accountingWorking with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure systems and processes are operating efficiently and effectivelyYour ProfileQualified CA or CPA with three or more years' experience in a CA firmExperience with accounting issues as they relate to large, complex entitiesExcellent Excel ability, with exposure to large ERPs viewed favourablyExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-motivated, outcome-driven work ethic with exceptional time managementHold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand
