Join our highly engaged team where you'll act as the Finance co-pilot for the Marketing & Category functions and snacking segment to ensure we are meeting our business and strategic goals.
You'll be a 'key partner' actively engaging in planning and S&OP+ process to ensure robust short term and medium-term commercial insights are used in management decision making.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Take the finance lead on our 5-year planning process, developing an integrated plan that considers category, portfolio and customer trends & strategies.
Partner with budget owners to manage, control, and report marketing and overheads costs.
Provide actionable insights to maximise value creation for the business.
Contribute to the S&OP+ process through high value partnering of Step 1 (and 4).
Track segment performance in key result areas such as growth, profitability, and brand/category performance, including full year estimates of each.
Work with stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to produce annual plans and commentary.
Periodic and quarterly commentary on our segment performance in line with Mars reporting calendar.
Lead expense management, budget and forecast for marketing and overhead expenditure.
Some balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry/reviews.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls and procedures.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business.
CA / CPA / CIMA (or similar) preferred.
FMCG or retail experience, preferably in roles partnering sales and/or marketing.
Financial analysis and demand investment appraisal.
Ability to build strong, credible relationships with the Sales & Marketing teams through expert insights and strong communication skills.
Budget, Forecast & reporting.
Knowledge of and proficiency with BI tools including advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage data to create high-level analysis and insights.
Financial Accounting.
