About the role
Our Finance Manager will play a key role overseeing and managing UniMed's financial operations. This position requires a strategic thinker and total team player with a strong understanding of financial management principles and hands-on experience leading a high performing group of Finance specialists. Our Finance Manager will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide insightful financial analysis to drive informed business decisions. It's a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting strategic decision-making processes. You will be supported by our Finance Director and a small but strong team of Finance professionals.
About you
You'll be a Chartered Accountant with at least three years' experience in a Finance leadership role. Experience in the health insurance industry isn't necessary.
What you'll bring:
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
Proven experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and auditing
Experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes including consolidation
Proficiency in accounting software and Finance systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Personal attributes

Proactive and results-driven with a continuous improvement bent
Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
