The Role With an increase in Head Office financial reporting requirements, the New Zealand business is looking to add a Finance Manager to the team, fully responsibility for the initial group reporting integration and subsequent financial management of the local business. Reporting to the local Managing Director with a dotted line into the group's CFO, you will more specifically be responsible for: Preparation of forecasts, annual budget and planning Monthly management accounts for local management and financial reporting into group Annual financial statements in accordance with standard accounting practices and IFRS Key contact and support to auditors, tax advisors and banks Oversight of payments and debtors, payroll, cash flow management Tax compliance Implementation of the group finance systems at local level Ensuring the integrity of the accounting and inventory systems Adjusting global company procedures to local needs and developing local procedures for local compliance topics Management of one accounts team member. Your Background CA qualification or similar Proven experience in a senior financial accounting position Exposure in the building products sector preferable, but must have experience with imported product (cost + freight) Experience reporting into an offshore parent Strong IT skills (including Excel), ideally with experience in MYOB (NZ) and SAP (group reporting). Reporting into a German head office you must be available for some afterhours meetings and an annual finance conference offshore.
