Responsibilities: Lead a team of experts to deliver excellent financial processes and advice.
Drive improvements and contribute to decision-making.
To be successful in this role you will have: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector financial management environment, including a thorough knowledge of all relevant statutes, Government policy, accounting principles, and management practices.
Proven ability to operate successfully at a senior management level with effective experience in managing teams, delegating duties and responsibilities.
Ability to effectively tailor technical financial information to suit experts and non-financial audiences, including the ability to convey messages robustly and convincingly in written or oral form (including formal presentations).
Strong business and commercial acumen and understanding of modern business management and financial analysis techniques.
Ability to strategically evaluate options, assess risk and trade-offs, to allow sound resource allocation decisions to be made.
You will need to be a qualified Accountant for this role.
The midpoint of the salary range is $143,461 per annum, and the full range (85%-120%) is $121,942 - $172,154 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
