As our Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing accurate financial reporting for the Group, developing strategies in collaboration with our CFO, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you'll be leading a talented finance team through ever-evolving challenges, ensuring the team thrives and performs at its best. Importantly, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of Waitomo's multiple entities. You will provide leadership and development to the finance team, driving performance and fostering growth while overseeing the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure financial compliance and accuracy. You'll thrive in a fast-changing business environment, adapting to new challenges and ensuring that financial strategies align with the company's strategic goals. Collaborating across departments, you will provide valuable financial insights to inform strategic business decisions. Additionally, you will monitor cashflow, manage financial resources, and champion operational efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement within the finance function, and have fun doing it!To succeed, you will need to be a Chartered Accountant with at least five years of proven financial management experience, bringing strong financial acumen and expertise in managing financial regulations and internal controls. You'll possess a strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills that foster a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
