As such, we seek a talented CA with a good solid grounding in either raw materials, engineering or technical manufacturing industries.Responsibilities include:Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the profitability, best practice and provision of in-depth reporting and analysis across the manufacturing operationWork with manufacturing and supply chain to drive efficiencies in production, purchasing and stock usage maximisation and reduction of wastageProfitability analysis in relation to the entire manufacturing process including quoting and costingPreparation of manufacturing variances along with supporting analysisFocus on supporting the introduction of projects for continuous improvement, including ROI calculationsCalculate holding costs/landing costs - provide feedback on order volumes/ volumetric FCL/LCLTaxation and foreign exchange managementPresentations to the Board of Directors as requiredAudit assistance, liaison with key internal and external stakeholdersProvide back-up to the Financial Controller as required for monthly reportingAbout you:You are CA qualified with a relevant degree majoring in finance - with proven relevant experience and achievements in the New Zealand marketYou are innovative and ambitious, with a high degree of initiativeYou have proven expertise in the manufacturing sector and strong skills in IT project management and business systemsYou are passionate about systems and processes - experience with ERP systems is essential, in particular Dynamics AX, will be a major advantageYou are ready for a step up into a Finance Manager role, looking to amplify your experience alongside an exceptional mentorBenefits: An excellent salary package will be tailored to suit the ideal candidate.
