Mo te turanga - About the role As a Finance Business Partner in ANZ's Finance function, you'll play a key role in partnering with different areas of the business to provide sound and purposeful management advice to support critical decision making. Our Business Partners provide strategic support through effective cost benefit analysis and effective financial management to deliver on business cost objectives. Role Location: Auckland Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like As a Finance Business Partner, you will: Partner with the business and provide financial advice, insights and decision support related to the assigned portfolio to support business performance management and initiatives Ensure advice delivered maintains the bank's reputation and contributes to the achievement of the customer strategy Build collaborative relationships with business partners and other key stakeholders; contribute to stakeholder forums Use all resources in a cost effective and efficient manner in line with budget Ensure all services delivered comply with ANZ Group governance requirements, policies, processes and standards and with legal and regulatory requirements Identify trends, risks and issues; resolve them and/or report and escalate them as required Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Chartered Accountant with significant working experience Relevant experience working within a large organisation or professional firm within the banking or finance related industry Commercial edge with strong business acumen and an advanced understanding of business drivers, with proven experience in leveraging this with the business to drive value Ability to influence and advocate effectively at a General Manager and Group level Strong self-sufficiency and ability to own and independently effectively manage your own scope of work You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
