The OpportunityJoin this not-for-profit organisation as their Finance and Administration Manager, where you will manage both the Trust and related subsidiaries, including their property investments.
This part-time, sole-charge position offers a central Wellington city office, full autonomy, and the flexibility to work from home or in a shared office.As a key member of this organisation, you will be responsible for the financial management of the organisation, including its financial investments and those of its commercial property-owning subsidiary company.
This includes managing grant requests, overseeing investments and property leases, preparing financial statements for the group, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:Preparation of annual budgetsManaging all financial transactionsPreparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, along with the annual report and auditFiling various statutory annual returnsActing as the key contact and liaison with auditorsPreparing the agenda for Trustee meetings and minuting the meetingsPerforming other financial and administrative tasks as required to ensure the efficient operation of the GroupWhat We Need from YouAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDegree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in financial managementGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information #J-18808-Ljbffr
