The Opportunity
As the Field Services Lead, you'll manage and inspire a team of Learner Success Managers and Learner Success Partners to support apprentices through their educational journeys. With a focus on operational excellence, you'll lead by example, developing high standards of customer service and business acumen within your team. Your influence will ensure Skills Group is the top choice for apprenticeships, delivering on key performance indicators (KPIs) and enhancing learner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team to meet KPIs and provide exceptional service.
Coach, support, and foster a high-performance culture within the team.
Ensure adherence to policies and support efficient route planning and scheduling.
Manage team concerns and facilitate a positive work environment.
Pastoral Care & Support : Oversee pastoral care to support apprentices' personal and academic needs.
Resolve escalated issues, ensuring appropriate and supportive solutions.
Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for apprentice success.

Academic Guidance : Ensure the delivery of high-quality academic guidance.
Work with field service teams to support apprentices in achieving qualifications.
Develop tailored strategies for apprentices with unique learning challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employers, industry bodies, and regulatory agencies.
Build and maintain effective partnerships to promote apprenticeship opportunities.

Performance Monitoring : Track KPIs and service levels, implementing improvement strategies as needed.
Provide performance reports to management and ensure quality standards are met.

Your Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, HR, or relevant experience in vocational training or workforce development.
5+ years of leadership experience, ideally in field services or vocational training.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams.
Strong commitment to apprentice support, student-centred initiatives, and pastoral care.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
Experience in the Electrical or Plumbing sectors is a plus.
