About the role Elevate your career by joining the frontline of New Zealand's Defence communications as a Senior HF Radio System Maintenance Engineering Technician. In this critical role, you will be at the heart of maintaining and repairing cutting-edge HF communication systems that ensure the NZDF's operational readiness. With your expertise, you'll oversee and execute technical investigations, ensuring the seamless operation of these vital systems 24/7. About you You are a seasoned technician with a solid background in radio communications and electronic engineering. Your strong diagnostic skills allow you to troubleshoot and repair complex systems down to the component level. You thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments and have a deep understanding of Defence or Communications settings. Your ability to produce and manage technical documentation is matched by your proficiency in engineering toolsets and software. You are a team player who values collaboration but also excels when working independently to meet tight deadlines.
