We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager for our client, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to manage facilities across a national portfolio of childcare centres, where you'll coordinate service requests, ensure compliance with various regulations, planned maintenance, and help maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee all helpdesk requests, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely task completion.Gather an understanding of the issue being raised, to ensure the best course of action is taken.Manage work orders, quotes, and service agreements while providing updates and follow-up processes.Ensure compliance with the Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) and other safety regulations.Constant communication between both internal and external stakeholders until the request is complete/closed. Key Requirements:Experience within facilities management - in particular commercial property management experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common software tools.Familiarity with compliance processes, particularly BWOF, is advantageous.Worked in a similar role, assisting clients with ticketed requests and prioritising workflow. Key Competencies:Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.Comfortable learning new processes - but also enjoys following a clear process with strong regulation in place.Has a can-do attitude!
