You start every working day together with national and international colleagues in our beautiful 4-star hotel located in The Hague. The team consists of young colleagues who are collegial and friendly towards each other. Despite the different nationalities, we can definitely speak of a close group of colleagues. You will work in a hotel with 72 rooms, a restaurant, coffee & wine lounge and 3 meeting rooms.
Job Description As a Restaurant & Bar intern in our large hotel, you will be co-responsible for the Restaurant, Coffee & Wine Lounge, In-room Dining and the meeting rooms under the guidance of the F&B Manager. Making processes within our hotel better, training colleagues and ensuring everything in our F&B department runs smoothly will be your main responsibilities. You will help ensure that all colleagues have the right tools to satisfy guests with our food and beverage services.
Be limitless
During the shift, you, along with the Supervisor, will make sure everything runs smoothly. If colleagues cannot solve a complaint or question, you and the Supervisors will jump in to help. You will ensure the right orders are placed and supervise and train employees when necessary. You will also perform the necessary administrative tasks, such as processing and checking outsourced working requests, making suggestions regarding the menu cards, and making internal orders.
In addition, you will be: an MBO or HBO student available for a minimum of 20 weeks, 5 days a week;providing correct information about drinks and dishes and serving them properly;involved in complicated questions, complaints or feedback from our guests;responsible for operationally supporting the F&B teams and, if necessary, performing Supervisor duties;making drinks and taking orders while engaging with guests about their visit to The Hague;preparing the Restaurant for evening service or tidying up breakfast;preparing the meeting rooms;refilling drinks in the coffee & wine lounge.Your working hours depend on your shift! Our shifts start with breakfast from 6:00 to 14:00, or working in our coffee & wine lounge and restaurant from 15:00 to 23:00. You should be open to working different shifts.

experience in Food & Beverage and a hospitality orientation;fluent written and spoken knowledge of English and preferably Dutch.We offer
