It is expected the food and beverage attendant will take real ownership of this role to ensure all goals and objectives are achieved and guests' expectations are surpassed. Applicant must have the right to work in New Zealand Key Accountability Areas:      Guest Satisfaction Commitment to guest service standardsAnticipate and strive to exceed customers' expectations relative to service and quality of food and beverage and the atmosphere created.Quality Control Table service, order taking, and entry into the system.Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen is running out of any item.Wine handling and pouringCommitment to developing wine, spirit and food knowledgePreparing tables, and restocking itemsEnsure the establishment is clean and tidy at all timesCommunication Ensure you have regular communication with colleagues and managementMenu Knowledge Complete understanding of both food and beverage lists.Knowledge of ingredients of menu items and different options for dietary requirements.Ability to up-sell correct items and recommend items that complete the guest's experienceAbout you: A year's worth of experience in a busy venue is preferred and all training will be provided Excellent verbal communication skillsMust work well in a teamOrganisedPunctual and reliableGuest service focusedA friendly, energetic and hard-working attitudeWilling to learnApplicant must have the right to work in New ZealandContact Shar Fonseca People and Culture Manager (email protected)
