PA, EA & Secretarial (Administration & Office Support)
We are looking for an experienced executive officer or high-level EA to slot in as the strategic right-hand support for the recently appointed CEO at Maungaharuru-Tangitu Trust. This role will have real meaning and impact for MTT and is based in their office in the heart of Ahuriri, Napier.
Maungaharuru-Tangitu Trust (MTT) is a Treaty of Waitangi Post Settlement Governance Entity representing the traditional area encompassing Keteketerau (the former outlet of Te Whanganui-a-Orotu) in the south, to the Waikari River in the north and from the Maungaharuru Range in the west to the coast and beyond to Tangitu (the sea) in the east.
As Executive Officer you will be working closely with the CEO, supporting with a range of administrative and executive support and project-related duties. The Chief Executive has many balls in the air. You will play a key part in easing her workflows and prioritising key projects, all with a view to ensuring the strategy, vision, values, policies and objectives of the Trust are implemented. You will be across inbox and meeting management for the CE and email correspondence on the CE's behalf.
Candidates with experience and exposure at the Executive Officer or high-level Executive Assistant will be considered seriously here. You will need to have the ability to work independently and prioritise workflows. Your organisational and communication skills will ensure the CEO has the required material to function well, is well supported and kept abreast of her work progress in play. You will be known to be great with systems, processes and documentation, and have the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. A strong commitment to the Te Tiriti o Waitangi alongside knowledge of Te Ao Maori will see you at home here.
