Life Flight is a charity that holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the community. They provide a world class emergency air service, which since 1975, has helped more than 40,000 people in their time of need.As Life Flight's new Events Manager, you'll manage the full spectrum of their events portfolio, from small community gatherings to large-scale events with 1,000+ attendees.These events generate close to $1m in revenue each year, directly funding Life Flight's operations. You'll be responsible for nurturing, growing and developing this vital channel by:Owning and delivering the entire lifecycle for events – from strategy, planning, execution and evaluationOverseeing the financial success of the events portfolio, ensuring a strong return on investment and budget managementCrafting compelling content for event promotionBuilding and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors and suppliersOverseeing and coordinating volunteers required for eventsWorking closely with the wider Life Flight team to ensure smooth event executionLife Flight is a vital life-saving service, providing increasingly necessary rapid access to medical care for those most in need in our local community. This is your opportunity to join a team of highly trained, passionate, and dedicated people whose fundraising efforts help to ensure that their mission endures.This is a permanent position based in Lyall Bay. Full time is 40 hours per week, but Life Flight is flexible for the right candidate to work a fixed schedule between 32-40 hours per week.
