Event & Match Day Manager - Wellington Rugby Football Union & The HurricanesPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Event & Match Day Manager provides an unparalleled opportunity for operational leadership and excellence within professional sport. This is a pivotal role and one of the core functions of both the Wellington Rugby Football Union (WRFU) and The Hurricanes, directly influencing the growth and success of the sport.A high level of administrative and operational focus is necessary with the fundamental purpose of delivering exceptional events that provide a superb participant experience and seamless integrated delivery with key partners and stakeholders.KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:Providing direction and leadership for events delivered by WRFU and its strategic partner The Hurricanes, including:Wellington based All Black Test MatchesSuper Rugby, Super Rugby AupikiProvincial Rugby, NPC/FPC, andAssociated pathway productsDelivering successful competitions and events in line with budget, attracting wider participation and community recognition.Ensuring a robust offering of competitions across the components of our sport (namely Wellington Lions, Wellington Pride, Hurricanes, Poua) and across age group rep programmes.Building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.If you wish to apply for this role, please email Jaymie Jarvis (******), including your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
