About JASANZ
The Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ) helps markets work better by providing internationally recognised accreditation services that create economic benefit. JASANZ was founded by treaty between Australia and New Zealand.
JASANZ doesn't certify or inspect organisations, products or people; rather, it accredits the bodies that do. The organisation does this by undertaking assessments and accrediting Conformity Assessment Bodies against specific accreditation criteria across these sectors:
Business and innovation
Health and human services
Product certification
Food and biological systems
Sustainability and environment
With offices in Canberra and Wellington, the organisation employs over 40 permanent employees and over 100 contractors.
