Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.7, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 27/01/2026 (To cover staff with fixed term responsibilities) Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher English Whangarei Boys' High School is seeking an enthusiastic and capable person to teach English.
The ideal candidate will need to be student-focused and able to work collaboratively as part of a strong and cohesive Languages Faculty.
Applicants should be well qualified and highly motivated, with a commitment to high standards of achievement in a progressive boys' school environment.
A strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches is essential.
Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $59,027 to $99,216 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA).
Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
