The role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT leader to join our Digital, Systems and Information (DS&I) team. You will be one of four new roles to join the newly established leadership team that will implement a Digital Transformation Strategy that informs the future design and delivery of digital services at GNS. Reporting to the DS&I Transformation Executive, you will play a key leadership role in a significant change programme to ensure we have technology and systems that enable our critical science delivery. You will have a clear focus on taking your people along with you on the change journey.
The Engagement Planning and Architecture Manager is responsible for leading the integrated planning, delivery and alignment of pan organisation initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of digital environments and solutions at GNS. This role involves developing technology roadmaps, guiding investment decisions, and establishing robust architecture and security frameworks to ensure that GNS' digital, systems and information assets align with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
About you You will have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, expertise in security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards and hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

This is a permanent, full time (38 hours per week) role and is based at our campus in Avalon, Lower Hutt.
The salary range for this position is between $171,180 - $190,200 depending on the successful candidate's experience.
