About UsAt Te Ara Mahi (TeAM), we know that employment and education are fundamental to overall wellbeing, financial stability, and a greater sense of purpose. Our TeAM actively supports people to find and maintain meaningful employment and reach their goals.TeAM Employment Specialists work one-on-one with people to assist with all aspects of their employment search (from CV development, job brokering, to interview prep and on-the-job training). We work closely within Te Whatu Ora Mental Health teams to deliver a wraparound IPS (Individual Placement & Support) service.Position OverviewThis is a full-time role, working up to 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8:00 to 4:30p, approx.). Some flexibility is required, and we can also be flexible to suit the needs of the preferred candidates.Working as part of our Tasman TeAM, and based in Richmond at Alexandra Hospital, this role supports referrals from Te Whatu Ora Tasman Community Mental Health. We work within communities in the Tasman area, including Motueka and rural locations. Regional travel is a daily factor for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesActively support a caseload of up to 20 people to find employment and provide ongoing in-work support.Utilize strong organization, planning, and relationship-building skills.Network confidently with multiple employers and community resources.Match the skills, strengths, and aspirations of individuals to employers' recruitment needs.QualificationsA Full Driver's License and Police Vetting is a requirement for this role.Strong IT and administration skills are essential.Pay Scale: $23.38 – $29.10* per hour (approx. annual salary range 48,630 – 60,528*).*This role is covered by the Pay Equity Settlement for Mental Health and Addiction Support Workers with pay rates based on relevant qualifications (Level 4 Health & Wellbeing).Application ProcessInterested?
