We are currently recruiting an Employee Relations Manager to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be based on site in Penrose, Auckland, however there will be an expectation for you to work across other sites in New Zealand.
Reporting to the General Manager for Industrial Relations, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering the Employee Relations/Industrial Relations business strategy, whilst ensuring the business meets its compliance requirements.
The key focuses of the role will include:
Supporting the business with disciplinary processes, terminations, complaints, investigations, personal grievances, matters that go to the Employment Authority;
Providing advice on rates and agreements and templates;
Managing the Collective negotiation bargaining process.
The position is an autonomous role, but will be working closely with the Workplace Relations team, HR Manager - New Zealand; all Business Units, Business Partnering; Learning & Development, Claims Management team and the broader P&C team.
Your demonstrated HR/E/IR experience along with your exemplary communications skills and your competency in dealing with Union negotiations and tribunals with and without the assistance of legal counsel, will set you up for success in this role.
