NPDL is part of The Wonderful Company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.Job DescriptionAs the EDI System Analyst, reporting to the Senior Business System Analyst you'll take the lead in planning, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge EDI solutions across the NPDL group of companies. Your expertise will drive seamless integration with our service providers, and your impact will be felt at every level of our business. No two days will be the same! You'll be at the forefront of exciting IT projects, tackling a diverse range of technical and functional tasks.Here's what you'll do:Solution Development:Partner with business units to identify and document needs, objectives, and current challenges.Craft IT solutions tailored to business requirements, clearly presenting options to decision-makers.Develop and maintain business process documentation and other artifacts essential for IT solution implementation.Design workflow solutions for Cargowise One, Oracle Fusion, or custom applications.Operational Support:Provide technical assistance to resolve day-to-day IT issues related to CargoWise One and integrated applications.Support core operational processes including Freight Liner & Agency, Forwarding, Customs, Warehouse, and more.Offer guidance and hands-on training to end users.Coordinate issue resolution with broader IT teams and escalate service tickets with product vendors when necessary.Utilize service management tools to track production support and manage user communication.Project Management:Lead approved IT projects from planning through execution, maintaining project plans and communicating progress to stakeholders.Oversee reports and technical developments from globally dispersed teams.Safety & Compliance:Uphold company and legislative health and safety objectives.Stay informed on HSQE best practices and promote them within the team.Business & Continuous Improvement:Provide support to the wider business, offering CargoWise advice.Identify and champion potential technology improvements.Challenge the status quo and recommend innovative solutions.QualificationsHere's what you'll bring to the table:Experience: 6-8 years of EDI project implementation in enterprise applications, with at least 4 years focused on shipping and/or logistics EDI communication.Expertise: In-depth knowledge of EDI transactions, standards, and protocols.Technical Skills: Experience in operating and managing various modules, with proficiency in MSSQL T-SQL scripting.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Oracle ERP Fusion Functions and CargoWise.Troubleshooting: Strong ability to troubleshoot data interface issues.Project Management: Solid knowledge of standard project management principles.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry best practices and standards.Education: A bachelor's degree in computer sciences, information technology, business, or a related field is preferred.This role is based in Parnell, Auckland. You will have solid analysis skills as well as excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). You thrive in a collaborative design environment and are able to deal with multiple projects on the go. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying.
