Our tamariki love their visits to the local library to support early literacy development. About you:
As our Centre Manager, you will have access to an excellent support network within the Busy Bees whanau, along with a Regional Manager who is committed to coaching and developing your success. We value Professional Development for all our teachers and are committed to upskilling and growing your professional development.
As a passionate and experienced leader, you will wear many hats to allow you to manage in an ever-evolving environment and be adaptable to meet a variety of needs. You will have a strong "on the floor" presence, providing mentoring and role modelling of exceptional teaching practice to the team. You will be responsible for creating solid community relationships, compliance management, mentoring and driving exceptional standards of teaching, and making decisions which will drive the future focus for the centre, both in terms of environment and education.
Role Requirements:
An inspirational leader with an innate ability to develop and lead a team to deliver best practice childcare services
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
Demonstrated leadership experience; you will love to coach, mentor and inspire!
Initiative, desire and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whariki
Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
