The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce management, exceptional leadership qualities, and the ability to drive profitability and growth.
This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires both operational expertise and a visionary approach to building a successful e-commerce marketplace.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Shopify marketplace, ensuring a seamless customer experience.Optimize the online storefront for usability, functionality, and conversions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial goals with marketing, sales, and operations.Take full ownership of the e-commerce business unit's P&L, including setting and achieving revenue and profit targets.Drive sales growth through pricing strategies, promotions, and product assortment optimization.Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and boost customer retention.Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and social media strategies.Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and agreements.Ensure a seamless and satisfying customer journey through collaboration with customer service and user experience teams.Stay updated on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to inform business strategy.Generate regular reports to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.Qualifications/Skills Required:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in e-commerce or retail management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.Strategic thinking and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.Project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.If you are passionate about e-commerce and excited about the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in driving growth and innovation, we want to hear from you!
