Duty Manager - New World Paremata

New World Paremata has an exciting Duty Manager opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our community supermarket.
We are committed to delivering an excellent customer experience for our community and we looking for a motivated individual who shares this enthusiasm to join us as a Duty Manager.
This is a full time role.
Hours: 13:00-21:00, 5 days per week including 1x weekend day.
About the role: Delight our customers through great customer engagement and delivering excellent customer standards on your shifts Lead and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure smooth operations.
Work on business/operational improvements by improving and maintaining our stock management Uphold store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.
What we are looking for: Previous FMCG retail experience preferred.
Duty managers certificate preferred but not essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Sound knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
