Duty Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Duty Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, managing staff on shift, and ensuring that our customers receive top-notch, best-in-town service on every visit.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have excellent communication, and the ability to deal with the odd muppet.
Previous experience in a management role is not essential, although a proven track record in the hospitality sector is required. You will be given the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with an awesome team of people. We are a high-volume venue that has a capacity of over 500 people, operating from 11am-1am seven days a week. Astrolabe has a great reputation for providing quality food and beverage from lunch through to dinner, and we are well-known for our busy late-night parties on weekends and throughout summer.
Qualifications & Experience
One to three years of relevant experience, with at least one year as a duty manager.
Valid Current NZ Managers certificate.
