Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeWe are currently seeking a fit and experienced Class 4 Driver – FEL (Front Load Waste Collection Vehicle), to join our growing team in Tauranga. You will be emptying commercial (Front Load) bins on site and will be servicing a large variety of customer sites that have scheduled collections for builders, shopping centres, factories, commercial and manufacturing businesses. Access will vary and requires skill and patience to ensure collections are made.Flexibility in start and finish time may be required. Flexibility in varied vehicle operations is also required eg. Rearloader, Gantry and Crane vehicles. We are looking to start you ASAP so you can learn the respective routes and vehicles operation requirements.The ideal candidate would have the following:Class 4 drivers' licence with at least 3 years relevant driving experience.Proven relevant experience in a similar environment/role.Experience with truck mounted units or machinery is preferred.Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience.Compliance, H&S and best practices including NZTA road code knowledge is required.Self-motivated and the ability to work to strict deadlines.Good verbal and written communication skills.Proven problem-solving skills.Strong relationship builder and team player.Sound knowledge of Tauranga roads.Computer literate / tech savvy – New in Cab technology.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Green Gorilla – New Zealand's highly successful independent recycling and waste company that sets the trends of waste services in our country.
