About the Role
This is a unique opportunity, guided by a strong Ngati Whakaue Maori cultural story to establish a world-class Spa and Wellness facility. Kaupapa Ngati Whakaue Maori principles, (manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and aroha) underpin the Spa's unique 'point of difference' and authenticity.
The Food and Beverage Attendant(s) deliver the day-to-day food and beverage services of the café while exceeding guest expectations with an exceptional food and beverage offering that showcases the authentic cultural experience at Wai Ariki. The Food and Beverage Attendant ensures the service is delivered to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver all food and beverage services and support day-to-day operations in the café within the guidelines provided
Deliver a high standard of food quality and presentation
Keep café area clean and presentable to a 5-star standard
Adhere to all relevant food health and safety guidelines
Provide the highest level of guest experience
Help ensure waste is minimised
Ensure all sales and cash handling procedures are followed
Ensure compliance to sale of liquor regulations
Experienced food handling skills
Pre-employment drug test
First Aid Certificate
Duty Managers licence highly regarded
Ability to understand and speak Te Reo Maori
