As the Digital Product Owner Lead, you will define and manage your squad's backlog, ensuring they align with strategic objectives. Collaborating with the claims team you'll help us reimagine how our claims experience shows up in our digital assets across Apps and Web to ensure our customers have a great digital experience.
Leading agile practices, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement, helping your squad grow in agile maturity and high-performance delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, manage interdependencies, and ensure seamless collaboration across squads and portfolios. Providing regular updates on progress, risks, and spend against cost/benefits, you'll ensure transparency using tools like SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence.
Finally, you will oversee initiative close-out activities, including post-implementation reviews and handovers to business-as-usual operations, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.
This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid working conditions, available at any of our IAG offices across New Zealand, with a preference for those located in Auckland.

Digital Leadership: Proven experience in digital program delivery and product ownership, with a strong understanding of Agile methodology or SCRUM certification.Strategic Insight: Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to manage complexity, navigate ambiguity, and respond to change.Team Excellence: Experience leading high-performance matrix teams, with exceptional influencing skills and a track record of building collaborative partnerships across various levels of the organisation.Continuous Improvement: A passion for fostering a continuous improvement environment, with a focus on delivering key programs of work that align with agile methodologies.This is your chance to be a part of something transformative.
