What Will You Be Doing
We need a proactive and switched-on Digital Product Owner who enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver enhanced digital platforms that deliver real impact.
This role reports to the Global Manager Digital Platforms and will manage requirements, priorities, and delivery for a portfolio of digital platforms for the tourism industry and tourism operators in Aotearoa New Zealand.
You will have responsibility for guiding digital product direction, translating customer, market, and business needs into software delivery requirements and user stories, laying out the delivery roadmap, prioritising backlogs, and overseeing delivery until completion.
You will work closely with stakeholder teams, agencies, and delivery vendors to coordinate improvements to user experience and the platform that achieves business objectives.
What You Will Need
Experience in digital product ownership working between business stakeholders and development and testing teams
A team player, able to work collaboratively with a variety of different teams and stakeholders
A passion for creating great digital experiences
Ability to understand organisational and team goals and develop aligned roadmaps and backlogs to achieve those goals
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyse where and how to make the biggest impact
Previous hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS), websites, and integrations between systems would be advantageous
Outstanding communication and people skills as you work with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborate across regions and business units
Experience working directly with a software delivery team using agile development methodologies
Knowledge of online marketing methods and customer journeys
Previous experience in the Tourism Industry would also be advantageous
