Eligibility and Requirements for Candidates
Educational Background: bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or related fields. Familiarity with SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media management, and email marketing is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush), content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
Knowledge of SEO and SEM: Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink strategies.
Legal Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in New Zealand.
Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights.
Immediate Availability: Ability to begin work immediately.
Clean Background: Candidates must have no history of substance abuse and possess a clean criminal record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TASKS
Strategic

Prioritizing work based on sales opportunities and profit.
Continuously improve websites and landing pages, build new ones when required, and proactively develop new channels for lead and sales generation.
Focus on ROAS and profitability across all aspects of ecommerce and lead generation.
Provide platforms to educate the consumer, optimizing the customer journey to increase revenue and profit.
Proactively plan, coordinate, and optimize digital campaigns to drive sales & build lifetime customer value through the D2C channel.
A/B testing across digital channels to continuously drive growth in sales.
Accurately monitor sites and provide real-time feedback.


Analysis & Reporting

Own and maintain ecommerce and lead generation performance analytics, metrics, and testing reporting.
Analyze key metrics; ensure they are accurate and used to grow sales.
Utilize reporting functions across multiple platforms to maximize sales opportunities.
Create clear, concise reports and analysis of all sales results.
Review and interpret sales results in real-time, initiating changes to optimize sales as required.
Generate and track testing pipeline, communicating learnings of wins and losses to ensure best practice across the team.


Organic Content Optimization / SEO

Work with external experts and tools to narrow keyword targeting based on strategy.
Develop and support a best-practice blog program, including engaging copywriters for monthly posts.
Optimize existing website content to improve search results and rankings.
Monitor and report trends/opportunities in keyword search topics to support content and social media ideation.
Regularly review and improve SEO targeting and ensure new website content meets SEO requirements.


Content Production

Ensure all key elements of the BDL sales process are adhered to within copy, imagery, formatting, and design across all platforms.
Generate & test new and creative growth ideas.
Clearly articulate requirements to internal teams and external agencies for efficiencies.
Research competitor advertising strategies.


Website

Undertake quarterly optimization reviews of the websites to identify and deliver optimization opportunities.
Ensure the sites remain well optimized for SEO and technical opportunities are delivered.
Deliver an outstanding brand experience on the websites in line with product experience.


Email and SMS

Ensure Email and SMS marketing is prioritized, and database management is accurate and complete.


Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Work with SEO Specialist(s) to manage the SEO of the Brand Developers' websites.
Utilize platforms to actively research and track SEO.
Apply learnings to continually update SEO content.


ITEM
DETAILS

Experience

3+ years proven track record in B2C digital-focused marketing roles, covering multi-channel marketing, operational planning, and tactical execution.
1+ years of hands-on experience using E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
Experience delivering results in SEO, Paid Search, Display, eDM, and social media campaign management.
Experience building ecommerce stores is a plus.


Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications (or similar) in marketing and/or digital marketing.


Skills and Knowledge

Strong understanding of online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
Ability to develop and implement results-driven digital strategies.
Knowledge of design and emerging digital trends.
Basic understanding of digital performance analysis, tracking, and optimization tools.
Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize workload, and multi-task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Tools and Platforms

Strong knowledge of:
Facebook (Meta), Instagram, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn, Pinterest
Content Management Systems: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, WordPress, Webflow, or Sitecore.
