Brand Developers Limited is an innovative and dynamic business and Australasia's leading Direct Response company, selling high demand products through TV, digital and retail channels. We are based in Takapuna with our core businesses being TV Shop & Thin Lizzy. We have an in-house marketing department that is responsible for everything creative, from initial concept through to final packaging, display designs and print and online advertising for our high-profile branded products.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Digital Content Creator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is a beauty enthusiast with a flair for storytelling and a strong understanding of social media trends. You will be responsible for producing engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our audience across various digital platforms.
Your focus will be on creating or editing graphics for Digital platforms, print, packaging, logo, large format, point-of-sale FSDUs, CDUs and branding. You will be required to coordinate final production artwork with suppliers and in-house teams. You may also be liaising on photo shoots for product shots, product models etc for re-shoots.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop, design, and produce high-quality visual and written content, including photos, videos, graphics, and copy, tailored for different social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Social Media Management: Collaborate with the social media team to plan, schedule, and post content that aligns with the brand's voice and aesthetic.
Campaign Development: Work with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that promote new product launches, brand initiatives, and seasonal promotions.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on beauty industry trends, social media developments, and emerging technologies to ensure our content remains relevant and innovative.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of digital content using analytics tools and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
To be successful in securing this role you will have:

Ideally a minimum 3-year commercial experience in graphic design & content creation, or a related role, preferably within the beauty industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or other content creation tools.
Good technical knowledge and understanding in the ecommerce space to do with the design and execution of layouts/marketing assets for homepage features, landing pages, digital marketing, site banners & GIF making using UI & UX knowledge.
Knowledge of Shopify / Email Campaigns & basic coding.
Confidence in using Microsoft Office suite
To demonstrate knowledge in producing effective advertising designs that sell
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices
Experience coordinating with suppliers and inhouse teams to produce final artwork and managing quotes and production
To be flexible and a multi-tasker with the ability to quickly shift priorities when needed

You will have a portfolio displaying strong work. It's essential this identifies your strengths in a diverse range of graphic design and ecommerce projects and profiles some of your exceptional design and artwork. You must be an amazing 'ideas' person and be an effective communicator who has the confidence to produce their best possible work to strict deadlines.
