About the role Our vibrant Water team is delivering a large programme of works and are looking for a motivated Design Manager/Project Technical Lead to provide technical overview, commercial acumen and team leadership on a programme of treatment plant upgrade projects. You will join our growing and diverse water team in either our Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland offices. This is a nationwide opportunity, so frequent travel will be required. Working with the project manager, design team, client and contractors, you will mentor and support staff, ensure the right balance of skills in the team and foster a high level of ownership, drive, commitment, open communication and team cohesion. Through exceptional delivery of design services, you will maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the achievement of improved assets in the Wellington region and beyond. About you You will have a high degree of technical knowledge in water and wastewater treatment design, with at least 10 years' experience in infrastructure projects (particularly in treatment plants) and ability to jump into an already established strong programme of works. You will be a confident communicator with outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills and have a passion for successful project delivery in complex environments. You also enjoy providing direction and support to others and are committed to bringing multi-discipline teams together to operate efficiently and to consistently deliver quality service on time and on budget.
