The role Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Warkworth, as a Design Estimator, you'll be responsible for designing, pricing, planning and tendering services, while contributing to the overall business success.
Based in Warkworth, you will also: Prepare work methodologies and ensure designs and pricing are peer reviewed prior to submission.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client representatives.
Visit site locations to scope and tender for new projects.

About you You are an experienced design estimator within the electricity distribution industry with a good understanding covering LV and HV.
You are comfortable liaising with diverse people at all levels of management and departments in a clear and concise manner.
You'll have a few years' experience working as a design estimator within the electricity distribution industry or you come from a strong practical field background and are looking to make the progression and change into an estimator position.
A recent electrical engineering graduate with a minimum qualification at diploma level will have an advantage.
You will be comfortable liaising with diverse people at all levels of management and departments in a clear and concise manner.
Your right attitude, mindset, and willingness to learn will carry weight for success.
We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following: Good knowledge of electrical engineering, power systems and distribution network and an understanding covering LV and HV.
Being a safety champion; comply with Health, Safety, Quality standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent communication, written and verbal.
A Full, clean NZ Driver's licence.
MS Office suite with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
Very good organisational, planning skills and confidence with an eye to foresee the bigger picture.
High attention to detail with accuracy.
Ability to be flexible when required.
Enjoy working in team environments, yet able to work self-directed.
