Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu Design Engineers act as technical post-sales architects, collaborating with presales, customers, and engineering teams to deliver and support telecommunications solutions. You'll lead technical discovery, create low-level designs, and ensure seamless implementation while maintaining strong customer relationships. Beyond the initial sale, you'll guide the delivery process, ensuring solutions continue to meet customer needs over time. Your ability to challenge, think innovatively, and continuously push boundaries will be key. You'll have a natural affinity for collaboration, building relationships high in trust to influence positive outcomes.
Key Qualifications: Minimum 3 years' experience in technical pre-sales, post-sales, or network engineering within telecommunicationsStrong customer service, organizational, negotiation, and sales skillsHigh technical acumen across Routing, Switching, Security, LAN/WLAN, Cloud, Mobile APN, and Access Layer TechnologiesExpertise in creating and maintaining solution-specific artifacts for post-sales deliveryHow you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira Foster innovation by creating a safe environment for creative thinking and challenging the status quo.Develop accurate, detailed designs aligned with architectural best practices and operational efficiency.Optimize customer networks, aligning with technology advancements and future roadmaps.Contribute to strategic projects that support 2degrees in becoming the digital telco of choice, including product development and process improvements.Join a culture dedicated to making New Zealand a better place to live and work - rare in the telco market.
