Nga Korero mo tenei turanga / About the role The PwC Transaction Services team (TS) is New Zealand's leading provider of financial due diligence services. TS sits within PwC's Deal practice and works closely with our Corporate Finance team.
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Transaction Services team in Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland. You will be responsible for working on financial due diligence projects with our clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Performing financial analysis, including assessing historical/forecast earnings, working capital trends, and net debt/debt-like items (i.e. income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis).Working with management teams to determine the 'story' behind the business and the key financial trends.Preparing written financial due diligence reports.Working in a team, sharing knowledge, and coaching other team members.Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experience This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing experience which will ideally come from a globally known professional services firm. We are looking for an experienced individual who can bring the following competencies and experience to the role:
3+ years professional experience, preferably in professional services.Have completed a relevant qualification in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Engineering or applicable field.Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial due diligence preferred.Accounting experience preferred.Attention to detail and maintenance of data integrity.Strong report writing skills.Excellent time management, and the ability to work with a number of different clients and internal stakeholders.The ability to proactively learn new skills and competencies.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZ Unrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.A cash contribution to enable you to set up your home work space.
