Data Infrastructure Engineer Job In New Zealand

Onside is currently seeking a data infrastructure engineer to join their dynamic team at Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to develop and support data models, pipelines, and data visualisation solutions using Microsoft technologies. Onside, an agri-tech scale-up from Christchurch, is dedicated to solving challenges for farmers and agribusinesses through cutting-edge, innovative software solutions. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 – $130,000 per year.
Qualifications for Data Infrastructure Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Proven experience in building data warehouses, data pipelines, and data platforms using the lake house architecture.
Familiarity with Power BI and experience in building interactive dashboards and reports is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities for Data Infrastructure Engineer: Develop and support data models, pipelines, and data visualisation solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Collaborate closely with the data science and engineering team.
Ensure all relevant data sources are accessible and integrated with the data platform to meet requirements.
Provide training and support for end users, enabling them to effectively utilise data tools and platforms.
