Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)
The Data Experience (DX) role works within our Agile BI Squads which are responsible for delivering BI Dashboards powered by automated data pipelines to our clients. The other roles in the squad are a Data Engineer (DE) – who looks after building the data pipelines, and a Management Consultant/Sprint Lead (MC) – who leads the sprint team and works with stakeholders and users.
We're looking for a Graduate or Junior to come onboard and work closely with the DX Chapter Lead to learn our way of working.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Management Consultant with gathering usability requirements of users through user stories.
Pretotype (digital sketch) dashboard designs based on metric definitions and user stories.
Work with the Data Engineer to agree on the data specification required to support the agreed design.
Prototype (build in tool) dashboard based on the Pretotype.
Run user testing sessions with users and iterate the design.
Advise and consult on DX principles, best practices, and guidelines around design and build.
Stay up to date with the latest updates on dashboard tools.
Stay up to date with the latest innovations on usability and data experience.
Maintain a level of business acumen to understand metrics and how they measure performance against business goals.
Key Skills An eye for and an interest in design.
Experience or exposure in BI Dashboarding tools (ideally Tableau and PowerBI).
Experience or exposure to an agile delivery methodology.
Experience in using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
Exposure to SQL.
