A bit about us:

A bit about the role:
As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technical delivery and maintenance, actively involved in building and optimising data platforms for enhanced efficiency. Your key activities will include providing day-to-day support services to business units and addressing data-related issues and requests. You will play a crucial role in identifying the information needed to support business priorities and strategies. This will be a 12-month fixed term opportunity commencing in Feb 2025.
A bit about you:
To excel in this role, you'll bring with you 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data platform engineering, analysis, and support. Your proficiency in constructing and enhancing data pipelines will be vital, showcasing your demonstrated capabilities in data modelling, processing integration, and the handling of unstructured data. Alongside the technical skills, we're looking for a team player who works best collaborating and sharing information with other team members, excellent time management, and strong communication and presentation skills.
What's in it for you:
You'll work with contemporary data platform technology to help the organisation supercharge its data-technology landscape and use of its data assets. This is within a supportive, diverse team that celebrates success. Furthermore, you will receive subsidised medical insurance along with heavily discounted car parking and $2.50 fully cooked meals in our staff cafeteria.
If you are passionate about implementing modern data platform technologies and processes to contribute to our organisation's evolving data maturity, apply now to be a key player in our data engineering team.
At SkyCity, our career opportunities are as diverse as our workforce. We don't just embrace differences; we value and support them.
