The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and technical-minded individual to join us as a Data Collection Technician on a casual basis .
With a maximum workload of 2 weeks per month, this role offers the ultimate work/life balance!
Working within our Road Science business, you will be part of an innovative team that promotes change through harnessing creative potential to deliver new and innovative solutions to the pavements industry.
Our Mobile Data Collection team uses state-of-the-art technology to test the condition of New Zealand's roads in a way that is safer, faster, and more accurate than traditional techniques.
In this role, you will operate data collection vehicles and machines that are fitted with the technology to produce high-resolution and precise data.
You will use this data to analyse, interpret, and report your findings to our customers who use this information for road infrastructure design and asset management.
Based from our McLeans Island Road depot in Christchurch, this opportunity does require nationwide travel, therefore it would suit someone who has the flexibility to travel and stay away from home, and someone who is confident driving New Zealand roads.
