About the Role We're seeking a Data Analyst to play a critical role in turning raw data into powerful insights that drive decision-making across the organisation. This role is ideal for an analytical thinker with the skills to not only gather and transform data but to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions are aligned with business needs and our Data Strategy. You'll be working closely with our data architects and engineers to create impactful solutions within our digital environment.
Key Responsibilities Engage with stakeholders to understand their data requirements, providing insights that guide effective decision-making.Use data from various sources to conduct thorough analyses, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.Contribute to data governance and enhance data literacy within the organisation.Collaborate with teams across Environment Canterbury to ensure data solutions support our enterprise data architecture.Develop, update, and implement data models and data documentation to streamline processes.About You A tertiary qualification in data analytics, information systems, or a related field is preferred.5+ years of professional experience in a similar environment, with 3+ years specifically in data management and data analysis.Proficiency with tools like Power BI and SQL for data manipulation and visualisation.Strong communication skills, especially in translating complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, promoting data-informed decision-making across the organisation.Applications close on 11 December 2024.
