We are one of NZ's original tourist destinations! The busy Discover Waitomo team is looking for a Senior Customer Service/Retail Representative who is enthusiastic about tourism to join their crew.
The purpose of the role is to ensure our customers have an "unforgettable holiday" by communicating and interacting with our clients to ensure they have appropriate knowledge of our products and meeting their needs. The role is key to ensuring our customers experience is exceptional and would cover the Australian and NZ school holiday period.

Meet performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales and quality; Ensure all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded; Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; Liaise with supervisors, team leaders, operatives and third parties to gather information and resolve issues; Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and involvement in networks; Assist the customer service manager with staffing levels and shift patterns; Assist with reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions; Hard work, trust and excellent manaakitanga (hospitality) focus are all part of the package we need.
