About the role This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the scoping, pricing, and delivery of non-energy products and services to some of New Zealand's largest commercial and industrial clients. In this role, you will bring your technical background and electrical expertise to bridge the gap between our sales team and valued customers. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovative solutions to improve customer's energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Identify customer energy and carbon reduction/optimisation opportunities aligned to Genesis' non-energy product offerings. Develop customer proposals for non-energy products, including commercials and maintaining technical accountability. Guide the sales team with technical acumen in high-stakes meetings and sales processes, including RFPs and renewals. Lead the execution of non-energy projects, managing 3rd party delivery partners or in-house led, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations. Act as the link between customers and the product team, providing feedback to enhance our offerings. Be the subject matter expert for downstream of the meter electrical and automation engineering. About you We are looking for a strategic and technically skilled individual with a keen interest in decarbonisation and sustainability who is passionate about meeting customer needs.
Our ideal candidate will also have: Sound experience in an LV electrical and automation engineering role. Experience identifying opportunities and developing supporting business cases and/or customer proposals. Understanding of BMS/SCADA systems and system interfacing. Ideally, experience with customer solar projects, including scoping, design, integration and delivery. Experience in project delivery and contract management. Understanding of the energy market and emerging trends and technologies. Sound technical knowledge of electrical and automation technologies in the industrial sector.
