About the role
We are seeking a positive, energetic Customer Support Manager to join our small rental vehicle team and lead improving the customer experience.
Fun and creativity is part of the deal. We are looking for someone who loves dealing with people, has fresh ideas and is willing to learn.
This role plays a vital role in achieving Handy Rentals growth plans whilst aligning with our service goals to deliver the best customer experience possible.
You will report directly to the business owner and some of your key duties are listed below.
Duties/responsibilities:
Manage the day to day running of the customer support operations
Manage and develop staff to deliver the highest levels of customer service
Develop and implement new strategies and ideas for improving the customer experience
Promote and sell Handy's products and services to potential and existing customers
Maximize vehicle utilization and revenue per day
Maintain relationships with existing clients
Identify and target new clients
Maintain our existing and potential customer relationships and be comfortable using software to do this

Skills and experience
For this role you will need to have a full license and be comfortable driving vans and small trucks. We are a 7 day operation so you will need to be able to cover rostered shifts from 8am to 4pm Weekdays and 8am to 12pm weekends.
Experienced or not, we are looking for hard working and motivated individuals who are ready to learn and want to grow their career in a customer facing role. We prefer to find the right person rather than the right qualifications. You must be comfortable at cold calling, face to face interactions and enjoy working with people.
It would also be great if you had some of the following skills:
Great Oral, Written and Verbal Communication

You have confidence in your own ability
A People Person that loves working in a Team
Attention to Detail
Experience with Sales (a bonus)
