Our client is a Kiwi-owned and operated and for over 20 years, they have been recognised as a reputable supplier of exterior building products in NZ. They offer a wide range of high-quality masonry and hardscape products for both commercial and residential projects and are a trusted partner to many builders and architects across New Zealand and also now in Australia.

The Opportunity:
On their behalf we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join the Silverdale based Team. They are looking for a highly motivated team player who is passionate about customer service and who will enjoy a busy and varied role.

Responsibilities will Include: Answer all incoming customer enquiries through phone, email and showroom sales Daily processing of Orders, Invoices in a timely & accurate manner Emailing copies of Invoices and or statements to customer when required Investigate and resolve shipment issues, providing Proof of Delivery (POD) to customers and ensuring every order is correct. Organising Quote documentation Processing of Australian Orders Coordinating and keeping the showroom immaculate and well stocked Preparing client invoicing, credit notes and back orders. Complete daily banking of eftpos transactions Ordering Stationery and Office supplies to ensure the office runs smoothly Liaise with Sales Team on orders and product queries when needed About You: Be able to deliver an amazing customer experience every time in a prompt and professional manner Knowledge of Inventory processes and basic accounting skills for invoicing, credit notes etc. Previous experience in a customer service role is essential Adept at juggling demands and priorities. Someone who does not get flustered easily when dealing in a fast-paced environment. Detail focused with attention to the nitty gritty. Computer literate in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel & Word. Great with numbers and accurate order entry. Experience of MYOB-Exo and Advance would be an advantage but not essential Most important is being an honest, enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude This is an in-house role, so it is important that the new CSR is reliable and doesn't need flexibility to WFH. Any experience in the building industry in a similar role would be a bonus.
