Matthews Packaging & Hygiene are looking for a customer service representative to work our Mangere Distribution Centre located at 59a Mahunga Drive, Mangere Bridge, Auckland. This position is full-time, 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Our ideal candidate is someone who can ensure that our customers receive the best customer service by reacting quickly and effectively to customers to ensure that each customer interaction with Matthews Packaging is as positive as possibleThis role will be the first line of contact with customers when they call or email for assistance. This position requires a high level of customer service present with every customer contact. Duties include providing quality service to enhance the brand we offer. The ability to handle a variety of tasks is a must, as well as is exceptional customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.We are looking for self-motivated team players to join our Mangere team located in Auckland. The role is primarily based in the office and warehouse, including manual handling and physical work. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday in from 7:00am - 4:30pmThe successful applicant will hold the following skills and experience:Exceptional spoken english skills and customer attitude Effective general administrative skills, with experience in handling and processing of routine documentationMust have intermediate level computer operational skillsMicrosoft Office skills to intermediate level, particularly outlook & excelOrder processing and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail is an absolute must, time management and organisational skillsAbility to deliver outstanding performance in a fast-paced environment while keeping your cool under pressureAn outgoing, friendly, focused personality who can communicate well with all sectors of the businessPrevious experience working in the packaging/hygiene industry will be highly regarded, however not essentialIn addition, a forklift license and a full driver's license would be an added advantageWe offer a supportive and happy team culture/environment, with training provided to ensure that you are successful in your role.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid work visa.
